Playing Dopey in a Philadelphia pre school production of Snow White was Hasaan’s 1st taste of acting before moving to Brooklyn NYC with his grandmother at the age of 6. Hasaan early on discovered his love for drawing and sports. Baseball and art was a big part in his life until he met rapper Foxy Brown who introduced him to the music industry and took him on the road with her while touring. While making television appearances on BET’s RapCity da Bassment, 106 & Park, and music videos he noticed that he didn’t have enough passion, the rap star lifestyle wasn’t what it seemed making a major set back in his young life.
It didn’t take much for him to learn his lesson, rediscovering acting as a great way to express himself thru something positive. He studies with Meisner acting coach Ron Millkie (Friday the 13th). His style of acting is fresh and charming with an raw edge. with the teachings of Ron Millkie and a life changing meeting with Gbenga Akinnegbe Hasaan went on to land numerous of roles in theatre, film and network television and continues to share his craft with the world.
